Documents like invoices and reminders are an important part of your brand. So here are some handy tips to help you make the right impression.
1. Use a template
A number of templates are available for each type of document. Use them for your layouts and you’ll only need to make a few small tweaks instead of designing it all from scratch. Go to Company name > Master data > Layouts > Maintenance
2. Adjust properties to your preferences
How many decimal points do you want to display? Do you want boxes to grow as you add more data? You can choose the properties for each part of your document. Simply click on the relevant block or field in your layout and select Properties.
3. Add a logo or image
You can personalize documents with your company logo, or add images in all the usual formats like .tif, .gif and .jpg
4. Double check with print preview
Use ‘print preview’ to make sure you haven’t missed anything and get your document right first time.
